Business WiFi Solutions
for West Cumbria
From Workington to Whitehaven, good WiFi shouldn't depend on how thick your walls are. We survey the building, design the network around it, and look after it from there, with someone local to ring.
Wireless Network Setup for Workington, Whitehaven and Maryport
Signal that reaches rooms your router never could
A lot of West Cumbria's business gets done in buildings that were never built with WiFi in mind: stone terraces in Whitehaven, steel units on the Workington estates, farmhouses with a whole yard between the office and the shed.
That's why we never quote from a desk. Every job starts with a site survey: we walk the whole building, measure the signal, and design a Ubiquiti UniFi network around what we find, then install and manage it from Carlisle.
The result is WiFi you stop thinking about. Coverage in every corner, guests and staff kept on separate networks, and a connection that just works. We monitor it remotely, fix most issues before you even notice them, and there's one friendly local team to ring if anything needs adjusting.

Hotels on the harbour, farms on the plain, factories on the estates. Each one needs a different design, and we've built networks for all of them.

Long-range access points keeping scanners and stock systems connected across open floors and loading bays.

What good design actually changes
Plenty of premises along the coast are still running on a single consumer router: strong signal beside it, dead spots in the rooms where people actually work. In a stone-built building, the drop-off is even sharper.
Toggle the views to see the difference a surveyed, well-placed UniFi network makes to the same floor plan.
Consumer Router
- 1 access point
- Dead spots
- 20-30 devices max
- No management
UniFi Network
- Multiple access points
- Full coverage
- 200+ devices
- Cloud managed
Why a local Carlisle team matters
Know the building, know the network
WiFi is a physical job. Someone has to walk the building, hold the meter up in the far corner of the warehouse, and see the wall that swallows the signal. That's hard to do from a national call centre, and it's why we survey every West Cumbria site in person before we design anything.
Once the network is in, most of the looking-after happens remotely. We monitor from our cloud controller in Carlisle, push the updates, and spot the failing access point before it fails. When something genuinely needs hands on site, the coast is a straight run over.
We've rolled out 100+ wireless networks across the region, in buildings of every age and shape. The ones out west, with their stone walls and salty weather, are exactly the kind we know how to design for.
Survey first, always
Every design starts with a walk around your actual building, not a guess from a desk forty miles away.
Built for coast buildings
Stone terraces, steel sheds and open yards each need a different answer. We've designed for them all.
Managed day to day
Monitoring, updates and fixes handled remotely from Carlisle, usually before you notice anything.
On site when it matters
Surveys, installs and stubborn faults bring us over the A595 or A66 with a clear time window.
